Raised in a vibrant Mexican family, Rizz absorbed a kaleidoscope of sounds growing up – hip-hop beats from Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller to reggae’s timeless rhythms and the electric tunes of the 90s. This, combined with his parents’ artistic spirit (a florist/actress mom and business owner dad), instilled a love for art, dedication and family – a theme central to his music.

Creating the Make Em Smile Foundation was a defining moment in Rizz’s career, allowing him to turn his music into a vehicle for inspiring intentional living and deeper connections. Bringing his community together through charity events which created a platform for him to share his music and give back to those in need.

A move to Nashville brought a renewed sense of direction, as Rizz delved deeper into the music scene he was joined by a new ensemble of A-Class Musicians and secured a distribution deal for his independent label, determined to own his masters and control his artistic direction. Now, with the release of his debut single ‘Don’t Stop Tryin’, Rizz hopes to capture the hearts of a wider audience, sharing his message of perseverance, empowerment, and the unifying power of music.
