About Rizz
From a makeshift recording studio in his family’s Reno garage to Bob Marley’s legendary studio in Jamaica, As the lead singer of Rizz & The Believerz, his journey is fueled by passion, purpose, and a deep connection to spirit and humanity. His musical journey reflects his unwavering belief in following one’s passion and striving to be the best version of oneself, he sees his music as a bridge connecting our souls to the shared experiences that bind us all. Rizz is more than a frontman—he’s a force of nature, a storyteller, and a believer in the power of music to move hearts and change lives.
The Luccketta Legacy
Every great story has a spark—the moment where everything changes. For Rizz & The Believerz, that moment came thanks to a mutual friend, Karyn Linder, who made a simple introduction that would light the fire.
At the time, Rizz was grinding in Reno, NV, chasing a dream that some people might’ve thought was crazy and crafting demo tracks filled with songs about perseverance, self-doubt, and belief. Armed with those demos he brought them to Troy Jr.’s studio in the Bay Area. Crashing on a blow-up mattress in the studio just to stay close to the music, holding onto a vision that nobody else could see yet.
But life threw a curveball. Troy Jr. was hit with major health challenges and surgeries, forcing him to step back. That’s when Troy Luccketta Sr., legendary drummer of Tesla (and proud dad), stepped in to help. What started as a favor to his son turned into something way bigger.
At first, Troy Sr. was just lending a hand—playing drums on Rizz’s demos while Jr. recovered. But three weeks in, something shifted. He turned to his son and said,
“What are you doing with this kid?”
Troy Jr. replied, “Dad, I’m producing him.”
Troy Sr. answered, “This kid is a superstar. We need to get management on him.”
That moment changed everything.
Troy Sr. brought Rizz to Nashville to finish his record, determined to bring the music to life. He personally hand-picked The Believerz—a collective of world-class musicians who not only brought their talent but shared the heart and vision of what Rizz was creating:
✨ Music with purpose.
✨ Songs that inspire people to push through fear and self-doubt.
✨ A movement that reminds us all that dreams come true when we believe.
👊 A Father-Son Powerhouse
But this journey wasn’t just about building a band. It became something deeper:
A father and son, side by side, creating music together. forging a relationship built on trust, belief, and a shared mission that continues to grow stronger every day. And yes…
For all you managers out there, Troy Sr. still says,
“We need management for this kid!”
So, if you’re someone who believes in the mission, sees the vision and looking to partner with a purpose-driven team ready to hit the world’s biggest stages, we’re taking calls. (But fair warning—passion, purpose, and a sense of humor are required.)
Now, with their debut single “Don’t Stop Tryin”, Rizz & The Believerz aren’t just releasing a song. They’re leading a movement. A movement for anyone who’s ever felt stuck, ever doubted themselves, or thought their dream was out of reach. This is your reminder to keep going. And whatever you do—
DON’T STOP TRYIN!.
